I'm also quite new here and look around a bit.
At present, it seems that you have almost the same temperature in Italy as we have in Denmark.
And you've got a good portio of rain. Our garden could well need it.

I tried again my wife's computer and her computer showed the page correctly.
Now I've cleaned up my Chrome and it looks like the max and min are currently showing up correctly. I will watch it during the day.

The problem with pop-ups is no longer there either.

WD Questions / Re: Program Debug Info

Still no joy here. Everything in WD appears to be working fine, but I cannot open and see any info from View>Program Debug Info. All very mysterious. :-k

1. Do you have a link to that description somewhere? Just to understand the meaning of CG+  CG- CC+ CC-
2. Do you know why there are two very different XXXrealtime.txt files for this? Different programs?

Hi Wim,

May be I can explain why there are 2 different files NSRealtime and NSDRealtime.

The NSRealtime files are created by the NSlog program, made by Jim McMurry. You have received information about this from me a while ago.
The NSDRealtime files are created by an NSBackend program made by Henkka. This program is derived from NSlog. These files are needed for a script that he made. Unfortunately, this program did not always work as well and sometimes caused malfunctions in my case.
Both programs need the Nexstorm software to work.

Hello once again thanks for quick response.

As you probably have discovered, I have no understanding of programming, but with your explanations I understand more and more .

I have replaced w34_load_files.php with the new one.
Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to change anything, - still the same value for min and max.

I'm almost sorry to bother you. If the error is with WU, the problem may be impossible for you to solve.

WxSim / New versions to test

No official yet (and not yet packaged in an installer), but to try out:

WXSIMATE 7.3 corrects a bug, which was giving an error with one of the RAOB sites for downloads done between 00Z and 01Z.  WXSIM and wret have updated algorithms for solar radiation, now taking into account water vapor absorption (via dew point) in the near infrared, whereas I'd effectively ignored that before (it was kind of included indirectly through the auto haze, but this new formulation is better).  For dew points above about 8 C (46 F), solar radiation values will be lowered just slightly (more so with increasing dew point, of course).  Well below that, the WV absorption falls of more significantly, so dry winter solar irradiances will be increased noticeably.

I'll be on vacation for about 8 days starting Tuesday.  If anything is wrong with these versions, you can revert to the most recent official release using

I am looking for a cheap way to collect weather data in a remote area. Temperature, humidity and rain are the minimum requirements for data collection.

Because only mobile phone coverage is available, I need to plunk a simcard in it or use a USB modem thingy (which I have).

Any idea folks....
