What about the transfer of domain? What would you suggest? Id rather not pay $14.99 US for a domain name as I have 2 full years of my own.

They've changed the categories now. I had 3 domains so I guess I would now have to go with Pro, but I think the lower one would suffice for many home wx sites.

All fixed. I fattened up the Saratoga Narrow page and the JavaScript WDL page.

What level did you go with? Professional?
Also, on the order page, Im given 2 options. One is to transfer my domain registration from another registrar or two, I already have a domain I want to use. With my domain with GoDaddy, what one would I actually choose?

Weather Station Equipment / Re: Davis Vantage Pro 2 longevity?

The wireless VP2 I'm using now is 12 years old. When it was 8 years old I thought about having Davis re-furbish it but replaced the ISS instead (which included the redesigned anemometer). High temps and high solar radiation/UV are the hazards here.

I tried a couple of hosts after e-rice's demise and finally settled on https://www.mddhosting.com/ - their support was outstanding.

I have since setup up a Synology NAS. I've heard that one can host their own web site with a NAS. I might not be proficient enough to figure out setup though.

So...as I just updated my 2 year subscription to GoDaddy to keep my domain name (www.goosebayweather.com), I am, once again, looking for a reliable web host. It looks like e-rice is no longer to be revived. I'd love to be able to use one Canadian side, but US will suffice if not. Any recommendations?
