Al Hirt would be very unhappy with you not liking "Java".

I use Java.   I try to be careful of the sites I do visit, and also why I have put the fancy versions of Bitdefender on my machine and Avast Fancy Version on my wife's .  Internet security.  So far I have been lucky.

The down side is that Internet Explorer will work fine on most things, although of late it has been hanging and I have to get out of that and use Firefox. With Facebook IE starts multiple loads of the IExplorer.exe and that has to be terminated. As well.  Firefox doesn't use Java but IE does.

The Java you are having the screen throwup is that I am using a scroller for the noaawarningscrollraw.txt file.

In any case, I am back on track, things were not pointing to the correct location and all is happy in WD land again.

I probably will remove the java after all,
