New is coming through this morning of torrential rain in some parts of the coast. Rain rates of 80mm/hr for two hours (gurgle!), with up to 360mm in the last day. Flash-fooding and evacuations at Lismore.
Quick. Get the lifeboats - rescue those dripping kiwis who have travelled so far to catch a few rays… 
Take them back to the nearest pub - they’ll dry out. (externally, anyway)
