ultimeter owners

there seems to be something going wrong with serial data from some ultimeter stations
which causes a eaccess violation …i have made a change in 10.24g that might help

Is it limited to that station? The last couple versions have been giving me problems with the VP2. I have WD minimized in my system tray, and if mouse over the little icon that displays the wind speed, it just disappears. The only errors in programerrorlog.txt are:

ERROR: Floating point division by zero at time/date 18:40:17 05/13/05 Above error or program log occured at :18:40:17 05/13/05 ERROR: Floating point division by zero at time/date 18:50:17 05/13/05 Above error or program log occured at :18:50:17 05/13/05 ((Restarted WD here)) ERROR: Floating point division by zero at time/date 21:40:06 05/13/05 Above error or program log occured at :21:40:06 05/13/05

that problem has been fixed in the latest version, and was a result of when the VP UV reading is zero…(for the sun burn time calculation)
it was my dummy for not spotting that would happen

Ok, thanks Windy.
Using 10.24e and low Mem usage

Using 10.24e and low Mem usage
it was reeuced cpu use with the new dew point  so you notice it on your 333mhz pc?

this computer is just logging, and it is using 18000k
Cyclone

memory use and cpu (i.e faster time to draw the graphs) use are 2 different issues

I’ve been using 10.24c for the last few days with my Ultimeter 2000 and have not seen any issues at all.
