For no apparent reason the forecasticon.gif picture embedded in summary.gif started to show as just a black rectangle on my weather web site.
When I looked at the files forecasticon.gif and forcasticonnew.gif in the webfiles directory on my weather PC they looked OK…
What it turned out to be was that I had reduced the screen colours to 256, to save resources on the PC. Resetting the colours to 16bit solved the problem. #-o
Just though someone may like to know in case they ever experience the same.
