Davis Sunset/rise times out?

Dear all,

I have a vantage pro and for some reason i cant get the sunrise/set times to show the correct figures. WD shows 6.19am rise and 18.02 set for my lat and long, yet the VP shows 6.47 and 18.29, so its not far out, but still out. All the numbers are the same.

Any ideas?

What is your lat/long?

Oh sorry forgot to add that! I’m in Central London so

51.30 N Lon and 0.7.0 W Lat

In the Davis its in as 51.3 North and 007.0 west.

Any thoughts, i cant see the logic to it?

You need to be careful about the exact format of the lat/long:

I guess you’re taking 51.30N as 51

Thanks a lot for the reply, your right i had entered 7 rather than 0.7! I got confused with looking at the WD numbers which show 0000.07.00

All seems fine now, much appreciated.
