Tropical Rainstorm in Winter.
« on: February 12, 2005, 05:16:16 AM »
Arizona and Southern California are getting hit with a tropical rain storm...

In AZ, the snow level rose pretty high during the day to upwards to 9,000 feet which is not very cool since there has been/was a lot of snow up in the northern part of the state that is now getting rained on and is melting fast.

Today we have gotten more than 0.84 in of rain so far and will most likely get close to an inch before the day is done.  We got almost a 1/4 of an inch last night when the storm first showed up.

We have been in a drought for the past 5-7 years.

Temps around here on the desert floor have been between 55F and 59F  today.  Its only like 39F up in Flagstaff right now and they are still getting rain.

Some parts of the state have already gotten more than 2 inches of rain.

All you need is Time, Aptitude and Desire ... and you can build just about anything...
