Debian version problem?

Just upgraded to the new version of Debian and running into a glitch, everything is working fine only my clientrawfile is not updating! Perhaps someone can find what i am doiing wrong, in the quote hereby the output from my consolewd…

you did not change the cronsolewd version do you mean?

Just downloaded the latest version of consolewd on a new RPI3, the old one was hit by a lightning struck nearby and fried. Was working out of the box except for the clientraw-file upload.

try a new consolewd update for the 64 bit linux desktop (I presume that is the version you are using?)

I just updated the consolewd in whole, but the files were all the same, so still no clientraw update, strange enough it uploads to Awekas, Metoffice, PWS, Weathercloud and the likes so i think nothing is wrong on the hosting-side AND the clientraw-file itself does update, could this have something to do with the fact that i am using SFTP now? My provider suggested that to do, so i did for safety’s sake, but i don’t think that could be the problem

which version are you downloading and using exactly?

what shows in a terminal window if you run
./cronftpreal

Time 60 seconds
Remote name
Port to use 21
Could not open ftp.akker.be
Connection failed waiting 5 minutes and so on…

And when i use the ssh-connection i get the same message…

that is the problem
for some reason it is not able to connect to your FTP server

Is there a possibility that the cause of the clientraw.txt not uploading was caused by a missing shared library: libusb-0.1.so.4, i did a fresh installation and bumped immediately on this error:

error while loading shared libraries: libusb-0.1.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

. I’ve downloaded the libusb*library and “voila” everything works now! Coincedence or just plain luck ?
