error: XDG_RUNTIME_DIR not set in the environment.

Note I get a burst of this error until the tty USB0 syncs up

ser_read error Resource temporarily unavailable

That XDG runtime does not show every time it loads unless the system has reloaded.

The data logger shows no errors while running.

Another run of the program and it dies again.

Next after running the program several times I noticed I thought it was still running fine but the clock on the program had stopped while the system clock still ran. Eventually the program dies and I get a run time 217 errors at the same location.

I have made available a new update compiled with the previous compiler version you could try

the error is around this

Here is an odd question. What is the name of this program in order for me to uninstall it properly so I can install the updated version. I’ve tried the Symantic Package manger but it can’t find weatherdisplay. I’ve also tried removing it via terminal and sudo apt-get remove does not find weatherdisplay. It does not show as an installed package and it does not show in the start up menu so I can’t delete it there either. I tried just deleting the wdisplay folder but upon installing the program again all my configuration info plus my program serial number is still there. I need to do a clean uninstall so I get a clean install.

there is no un install, as there is no system files as such (in places a uninstaller looks for)
the settings files are stored in ~/Documents/wdisplay/
backup then delete those
