Inexpensive stations that work with WD?

User mastervie poses a good question in this thread. Now so many stations are locked into vendor services and web sites, what lower cost stations are available that offer a direct (or more or less realtime) data flow to WD?

I got a accurite 5 5 in 1. It sells lots of places for less than 100 dollars. Just google it in the shopping heading.

I had an Aercus, which is not quite the cheapest, but reasonably priced. It lasted about two years. It was replaced by the considerably more expensive Oregon WMR300, which is a Davis look-alike (using many of the same components). It is doing fine after 1 year. My Davis rendered its soul recently after 15 years and has been replaced by another Davis. My very first one was La Crosse (about 16 years ago) and it was replaced by the Davis; at the time, it was inaccurate, but may be OK now.
