Hi Brian, I am also getting unwanted characters on line 1 of testtags.php, similar to BTrip. The result of this aligns with the problem I had described to you previously where the index.php will not load when opening my website - it opens with all white space and no content. Another similarity is the indoor temp on the main graph, it stitches high/low and is not displaying correctly.

Thanks
Paul

what I need is someone to email me their test tags file with the custom tags in it so I can test this
edit, found a copy...testing
not sure yet what the story is with the indoor temperature but I will set up a test here
it could be an issue with the scale maybe
but if you leave it running does it come correct?

Hello -- I did update to the latest 2 Aug version.  The app closes now everyday at noon.  My station is the SmartWeather WeatherFlow.  The cron job is still open, even though the main screen has closed.  Not sure whether the cron job (cronweatherflow) is still running however.

@rigger3
that has already been posted above about
you need to make sure to copy the library files (i.e double click on that console app in the installer and  then enter your system password when it prompts)

Hi Brian,

So I dragged WDISPLAY.INI out from wdisplay and also opened with Text Edit.  I didn't see com port driver so dragged it back into the folder.  Now the WD window opens but is unpopulated so I clicked Setup and WD quit.  Been having computer problems for the last few days and don't remember what I did with wdisplayftp.ini although I did drag it out of wdisplay and thought I dragged it back but it's no longer in wdisplay folder.  Is it necessary for local setup?  I also downloaded and installed the Aug. 10 version but wdisplayftp.ini is still not present.  So now I'm at a loss and the WD window is still unpopulated and crashing when the Setup button is clicked.  Now it's opening and crashing after I tried to set up from control panel and selected the cu.silab USB driver and the Davis weather station parameters, after which the program crashed.

Aloha,

Mark

Reinstalled Aug 10 version and wdisplayftp.ini is present but upon opening, program window appears for a second or two then crashes.  I ran copylibraryfiles before opening.  WD is the first layer of Applications where it's supposed to be.

The only backup I use is Time Machine so I don't think that would affect WD.

I did delete the 2 ini files you mentioned earlier and when WD started up again, they reappeared on their own.  WD still crashes after opening for a couple of seconds.  The opening window says WD is loading rain data but from what I can see , no rain data appears in the WD window while it's open briefly.

it could then be a problem with one of the data files
try as a test back up then delete the data files
