You don’t give us much to go on…

What sensor are you using to determine sky conditions?

“Google is your friend”
I do not know for sure, but I think this is the first “identical” question on this forum from 15-09-2006, 09:41:47 .
Make sure you did not tell WD by accident that you have a solar sensor.

hello
thanks for the replies.
found the solar sensor main switch was on.
i have no solar. switch is now off.
sky conditions are reporting “dry”.
it has been over 24 hours since i turned off the sensor switch and
the conditions are still not updating.
i have kpdx set for current sky conditions.
kpdx.txt is currently mostly cloudy.
thanks

In WD under the VIEW menu, click on “Downloaded Metars” and you should have a file “KPDX.met” and it will show “Sky conditions:” and that should match what WD is showing for current sky conditions.

KPDX.met is still indicating mostly cloudy.
my sky conditions vancamweather.com indicate dry.
i did notice if i refresh the page it will show “mostly cloudy” for less than
a second and then immediately shows “dry” again.
testtags is current: $weatherreport = ‘mostly cloudy’; // current weather conditions from selected METAR

Post screen grab of setup screen of your metar download…

wd metar download

Only difference I have in my setup is I have ticked “It is a ASOS/SYNOP metar”. Maybe check your Main screen Icon setup…here’s what mine looks like…

thanks for the feedback.
it appears that the correct metar sky conditions load initially and are then replaced by the clientraw conditions: “dry”.
you can also see this if you refresh the page. it will show the metar sky conditions momentarily.
not sure why.

“Dry” I believe is the default used by WD when you don’t have a solar sensor. I am racking my brain trying to remember what causes the condition where the conditions change when the new clientraw is ftp’d to your site but so far it alludes me…
