Two first of month days in 7Day Rain

that quote should add, and use up all your internet bandwidth 8O

“and I suspect w0mbat did not have that fix in use”
I thought that fix was in build 93 which is why I ran that upgrade.
Nevertheless I will upgrade to the latest.

I will do some testing again
But it’s our wedding anniversary today
So not today 8O

Happy Anniversary!!!

I finally found some spare time to sit down and nut out this bug
and I have fixed it 8O

in build 96

Thank you Brian! Will install now.

Hi Brian,
At first I thought it was OK but there is still a problem.
There is no 31st of May shown. It goes from the 30th of May to 1st of June.
See attached screen grab.

Build 96 looks okay here…at least until June 1st ends…will see how it looks tomorrow…

[add] Now June 2nd and still ok…

Looks Ok here with bld 96.

Maybe it is because I am in Australia with our 9AM reset and other differences. I am using build 96 as well.
Today it is showing two 1/6 days and no 31/5.
See screen grab.

Another difference is your date format of day/month versus month/day…

i have now fixed a bug with the Aus 9am rain reset option for the change in month rain
in build 99
so make sure to update to that before the end of the month 8O

Thank you Brian.
Will download and install now.
Is there anything I need to do to ensure the Detailed Rain Records are correct?
During the last couple of months 13mm of rain showing on a day near the end of the month in the detailed records “disappeared”.
What can I do about this?
Ian

you could edit/check/make sure the logfile for that month is OK (for the end of the month part) and then convert that months logfile to data file (see via action, convert WD logfiles to data files)

It is now 30th June and after 9AM so I would have expected to see that the monthly rain had been set to zero but it has not.
So I suspect there is still a problem here Brian.

Wombat / Brian

Same problem here

when should it reset?
I am still confused
I have it now reseting at 9am 1st july
which is how it is in NZ for 9am reset

Hi Brian,
According to BOM the 9AM reading is recorded on the date of reading.
Therefore the first day of the month begins at 9AM on the last day of the month.
That is the way WD always used to work.
These issues have only arisen recently.
Here is the link to the BOM methods http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/data/stations/about-weather-station-data.shtml
It fully explains which data is reset at what times…they are not treated all the same.
However now a new issue seems to have arisen where the detailed rain total for the month is incorrect and seems to be (for me at least ) a copy of the previous month’s total. See what ExWhr has written in the other thread. This is only since build 99 I believe. See attached screen grab. Also the correct total seems to show in Average and the year total looks like the number of days in a year!
I will let you know what happens at 9AM
Ian

Its now after 9AM and things seem to have mostly sorted themselves out (except for it should have happened yesterday)
See the new screen grab of detailed rain for today…there are several differences to yesterday’s one in the summary area at the bottom.
Ian

I am having similar issues here (using B99).

I am also seeing issues in the average/extremes/NOAA reports/Detailed Climate reports for the last couple of days of the month - Wombat, do you also have issues with this reports as well?
