Hi
Looking to find out if Weather Display will run ok on Windows Server 2016?
I’m currently running Windows Server 2008 R2 (Foundation) but new server comes with the later version.
I’ve seen a few references to Windows Server 2016 on the forum so suspect it might be ok but want to be sure before I upgrade.
Many thanks
Colin
Hi
Anyone able to help with this question? Does anyone currently use Weather Display with Windows Server 2016 in either standard or essentials version?
I
Search shows few users posting about Server 2016, but I found these two posts indicating success (second one has OS unrelated FTP issue).

Yes, I’m running WD as administrator and WD has worked for years on Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server 2016.
After upgrading to Windows Server 2019 it stopped working.
I have tried running in compatibility mode and checked fw rules and Windows event log, but can’t see any issues or settings preventing WD to run
I’ll send the video to your mail address
Thank’s for working with me to try to resolve this!
(The 2019 issue was resolved)

I guess it’s a bit late now for anyone to be moving to Server 2016 (except for smart buyers of surplus hardware ), but at least the GW400 post is from only 6 months ago so that would have referred to the current interation (except for relatively minor changes) of WD.
