What is the status on using WeatherFlow's Solar and UV data?
« on: April 13, 2019, 06:01:12 AM »
Hi,

I am using my VantageVue as primary weatherstation, displaying weatherdata in the saratoga template.
It does not have Solar and UV on board.
For Solar I am using the hobbyboards solar sensor.
No UV available.

I like to use the WeatherFlow's Solar and UV data for my saratoga template. (Brightness and Lightning Strike data will be welcome as well)
Last time I asked, you wrote that it was currently not available.

Can you tell me what the status is right now or will this not be available at all.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I am getting solar and uv data in current conditions.
Solar data in the saratoga template as well, showing WF data.

I have turned off dallas1wirereader for hobbyboards solar sensor.
Is there something else I have to disable in the solarsensor setup.
Percentagenumber is now being calculated for WF solar data?
Thresholds are now using the WF percentage?

I like to have a space between the last digit and the letter W.
63.0W/m2 to 63.0 W/m2
Can that be fixed.

Just noticed that another tag displays at the same location like in the image.
Saying Solar: 79 W/m2
No UV displayed.
That was the last value from the hobbyboards solarsensor when I updated to the new version supporting WF Solar, I guess.

The UV Steelseries gauge shows 0.0 UV, then WF's value, back to 0.0 UV again, WF's value, 0.0 UV....etc

Also, Cronweatherflow is displaying an Error 143 Busy performing current action at time....
Upperleftcorner beneath ok, ok, ok

Percentage and sunhours do not change, maybe related?

Got the percentage and sunshinehours working now.
Unchecking "Use this value" in the 1Wire Solar setup did the trick.

Still got two tags toggling in the current conditions of wd at the same position.
One only saying solar, the second solar and uv.
Solarvalues are now both the same and reflect the actual WF solar value.
Tags toggle on and off.
I suspect the one only showing solar sets the UV value at 0
Testtags.php shows true values and the value 0, on and off.

I did not add that tag to the current condition screen myself.
Do you know perhaps where this tag, only showing solar is coming from?

In Station type and settings at davis.
Do I have to check "I have Solar and UV" at davis vp/vue settings?

From my 42019vantagelog.txt
UV values become 0.0 (column 7)
Any idea what's happening here.

Thanks
