WeatherFlow seems I can get either rain or solar data and not both?

I’m new to the PWS seen and this software. I’m using a WeatherFlow station. I get data from cronweatherflow program. It has a check box to use or not use a direct UDP feed.

If I use UDP I get solar updates but not rain.
If I don’t use UDP and pull data from the web I get rain but not solar updates?

What did I configure wrong?

thanks,
Drew

make sure to use the latest update of WD has I have improved some things
(and the latest update of the cronweatherflow.exe program:
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/cronweatherflow.zip)

Stopped WD replaced cronweatherflow with the new downloaded and restarted. running WD version 10.37S93

Now watching more closely it does not matter if I using UDP or not. IT only updates UV and wm/2 when I first press the go button. I can press the button again and will read the current value but does not update after that until I press go in the cronweatherflow screen.

the new cronweatherflow version auto presses that go button every minute (there is a counter below that)
is that not happening?

although the new version of the croneatherflow is included in the latest WD update
I had not updated the above link with the latest
so re download that again and use
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/cronweatherflow.zip)

No, screenshot attached.

I did download it again. Same date, size and timestamp? Same behavior as well.

Something must have changed in the
Data format
If you can capture a copy of the weatherflow2.txt file in the webfiles folder
When it does not have rapid wind only data
Also I need to keep the websites open
When using udp
That will help

Here you go.

weatherflow2-capture.txt (337 Bytes)

HI
thanks for that
but that one is from the hub
I am looking for one that has the rain data in it and says obs sky

ok, I’ll keep trying to capture it. do you want me have UDP checked or un-checked?

checked
I don’t have my HUB here (its at another location) otherwise I would be able to do this as well
the version of cronweatherflow you have should have a number increasing under the Go button…when that gets to 10 the go button is clicked auto
vers 4.2 across the top
do you see that?

No, I’ve got version 4.0 across the top

ah, then you do not have the latest version, which should improve the situaton
try using the latest full install (exit WD first) or the latest .zip update of WD, to get the new files

Yeap, that did the trick!

wow, impressive how often the software updates!

thanks for the help.

I can hardly keep up myself 8O
