WD and Weather Underground - how to tell is it is receiving data

Hi

Having spent some time getting WD display working, and it happily getting data from Weather Underground. This morning I found that it appeared to have stopped collecting data

Symptoms
Hadnt received rain values
Data light not blinking

Checked Weather Underground and the data is there.
Restarted WD and got 1 data unit

How do I see what is happening betweeen WD and Weather Underground, when WD is getting the data?
Also is there a catch up capability when using Weather Underground

do you mean you have WD set to get data from WU? (stationless setup)
what might have happened is that you have gone over the limit for your free api key in how many data calls are allowed

Thanks for that… yes it is stationless, the period is default - ie 300 seconds

Is there a log file showing interation between the WD and Weather Underrground

Also can is catch up?

I found the problem, for some reason the power options was putting the pc into standby… was working correctly for a day and then the setting chnaged (my fingers I suspect!)

However now know how to check for data reads / where the data log is!
