Can we use 915Mhz in New Zealand

Hi

Was wondering if anyone know whether the 915Mhz frequency is allowed to be used with weather stations in New Zealand

thanks

No expertise on NZ law but looking at the reference below I would say yes.

What about the 902-915 frequencies that the US models use?

There are all the same units with the same chip but configured to comply with regional regulations.

You’re right, I mis-read it  Post deleted

The problem isn’t the consoles, you are right they can be switched between regions, the transmitters however cannot - as far as we know.

As a David Reseller in New Zealand

I would very much say that resellers Outside NZ should not be allowed to sell to markets other than there own.

We do our best to stay competitive but certain companies make it near impossible to compete when overseas sellers under cut others.

In short no I wouldn
