Largedisplay.gif has blue box

How do I get rid of the blue box around my largedisplay.gif? I increased the font size and it appeared.

click on customise in the menu
then enable that
then you should be able to make that border line bigger (ie closer to the actual size of the whole screen)

By “then enable that” do you mean click on “Enable (shift/Ctrl and mouse move)”? Clicking on it doesn’t make shift/Ctrl and mouse active on anything on the screen. The Large Display window is bigger than my 1600 x 1200 monitor and I can’t make it smaller.

I just got it to work. Thanks for the help.

I was successful getting the blue box and the window size to match but data is missing. It appears to be multi layered but I don’t know how to move the layers that are blocking the data. Is there documentation for customizing the largedisplay.gif? Is there a way to reset it?

try moving that box right out of the way to then be able to move/resize things under neath it…sort of thing

you could also try the
reset large display
under setup, advanced/misc, main screen customise

Reset did it and it didn’t even change my colors  Along the way I learned how to square the tags with the data.

This page is for us locals who check the current weather with our phones.

Switching from VWS to Weather Display was the best thing I ever did. Again, Thank you
