Spontaneous activation of non-metric mode

Hi there.

I have the Vaisala WXT530 weather station installed on the construction site. Weather data is sent via GPRS channel with Moxa OnCell G3151.

WeatherDisplay (v. 10.37S90) is running on virtual machine under Windows 7 and recieving data 24/7. Data is also being published on Weatherunderground.

After a random time period from the start (several days usually) Weatherdisplay spontaneously activates the checkbox “Non in metric mode” in Control panel → Station type and settings. Please see the attach 1. And then it repeats without certain interval (day or more, sometimes several houres).

Thereafter I have the inadequate temp and pressure data in program window, in log files and on Weatherundeground website. Please see the attach 2.

The example of raw data being recieved from virtual comport is shown in attach 3.

What can I do to avoid this extremely unpleasant feature (or bug)?

do you mean that setting is getting set but you have not set it, or?

Yes, exactly.

WD was trying to be smart, in that if it picked up a F (instead of a C) after the temperature then it set that setting
but I have disabled that
use this update

Thanks for quick response.

I’ve installed the update and I’ll write the result several days later.

Weatherdisplay works fine with update having been installed.

Thanks a lot.
