Wunderground Almanac / Forecast Problem

WD version, e.g. v10.37S b92

  • Weather station type, Ambient Ambient Weather WS-8478
  • PC operating system and brief spec: Windows Server 2012R2 64-bit, 16GB, x64 based processor (actually running on an iMac Dual Boot) Intel Core i5-2400S, 2.5 Ghz

Weather Underground Almanac with Forecast and Historical Parameters no longer pulling data or updating from Wunderground. Probably has something to do with the API updates that changed the other Wunderground settings.

the problem is that WU has limited the use of my current developer api call rates
and so its being blocked

so not actually a bug as such

I now need to get WD to use the new api, which is now available
but you will need to get a new WU api key for that new api

Hey there, Brian!

Will the almanac data be coming back? I am on the latest build and added the new Weather Underground API key. Don’t see how I can select the nearest “official” station to retrieve normals and records.

sorry
there is no more almanac record hi/lo data available
i.e its not available in the new WU api

Bahumbug. That is what I was afraid of. Things at Weather Underground just continue to go downhill since The Weather Channel bought them. :frowning:

I see they have redone the dashboard
but you cant even change to C from F currently 8O
