With and without “www” are two different serial numbers, but that’s really not the issue. Since you have now signed up (paid?) for SSL you should default the access to your site to using https://www.turnerdownsweather.com, then the link to WDL will default to https://www.turnerdownsweather.com/wxlive.php and the original serial will work (after you’ve made any changes for https). I’m not familiar with godaddy hosting so I don’t know if that would be a setup option on your account or whether you’ll have to add a redirect in .htaccess or similar. Need one of the web gurus or google to help with that.
