Jan 20 -21 lunar eclipse isn't showing
« on: January 12, 2019, 04:34:15 PM »
The lunar eclipse for USA on January 20 -21st 2019 isn't showing correctly on the "sun/moon" page(wxastronomy.php). I checked and "moondetail2.gif" is being correctly uploaded. Any ideas? I've also checked numerous other USA sights that are showing the same results. Thanks

"January 2021, 2019 Total Lunar Eclipse. The total phase of this total lunar eclipse will be visible from North and South America, Europe and western Africa."

But the graphic isn't showing one until July.

Brian

Yes, the "moondeatail2.gif" is correctly uploading just not showing the Jan 20th - 21st 2019 eclipse like Niko said. It is showing the one in July 2019.

Thanks

IIRC when this same missing eclipse issue has come up in the past the answer has been that the astro component reports for some fixed location (Australia?), rather than adjusting to list visible eclipses based on WD's lat/long.

I tested with the actual demo program for the component I am using
and you can set the location (lat/long)
what is your lat/long Mikey?
