Gorgeous. So much better than the cold and damp stripping the leaves from out own trees.
Gone from godzone for 50+ years, and I still miss the kiwi christmas’s, sunshine, beaches, bbq’d mid-afternoon dinners…
And of course, the Pohutakawas. We had 2 in our yard (in Herne Bay) - they were about 60 years old when I left, they’re over 100 now I suppose.
With birthday also in December, I do get kinda nostalgic this time of year.

their are also different varieties that grow in the Pacific, e. g Fiji and Hawaii
they are a coastal tree: do not like frosts
