Davis Vantage Pro2 Firmware 3.80.
« on: December 13, 2018, 11:58:25 AM »
Has anyone with a Davis VP2 updated to the latest firmware? It states the following on their website: Firmware version 3.80 - Modified heat index table to better support high temp and high humidity environments. So I was wondering if this is a firmware update worth doing or not.

Yes, I have 3.80 early in the year. We occasionally have high temperatures above 45c/11F and other than what you stated is the purpose of the FW upgrade, I didnít notice any difference.

The actual driver for the update was on advice from Davis support as I was receiving a low battery on the Leaf/Soil station.

There is a fault on the console at external temperature.
If the temperature is from -0.1C to -0.9C, zero will not appear before the decimal point.
Otherwise, useless to me.
