Ultrasonic anemometer for VP 2

I was surprised by this novelty, good parameters and no switch.
Rather, I wonder if anybody has any of this stuff and how satisfied they are.
I need to know how often you need to clean sensor sensors from dirt,
What happens if it is cloudy for several days and will not light up on the solar panel.

Expensive little ■■■■■■… 8O

Thank you for info.
The price is still high. :?

Another one? See: https://www.weatherstations.co.uk/lcj-ultrasonic-anemometer.htm

Even more expensive. . .

It looks very good, and it will not be as bad as the other model.
The black variant is really stupid.
The question remains if there is at all a wind resolution of 0.1 m / s for something good.
The davis console is not able to record such a resolution, it would have to have completely different software.

Hi Matrix.

Some helpful ultrasonic wind sensor info reg your question in this thred:

I had some breakdown issues reg org davis wind sensor, so checked out some ultrasonic option.
My choice at the end was the plug/play heated Darrera ultrasonic sensor up to 60 m/s , but need power adapter (im also use ups), but this was no problem for me:

Has been running 24/7 almost 2 years now, and no issue, no cleaning, so a happy ultrasonic user.

It looks very good.
It would be a power problem for me because I use Anemometer on a high-rise building where I have limited access.
This would have to be a large solar panel and a lithium battery with a voltage regulator.
