time drift - how to correct?

Hello guys,

I noticed, that both (VP2 console+PC clock) time is 3 mins behind from official time.
activated: Time sync in data logger setup - so PC time is in sync to that of the console.
deactivated: Time sync via Internet

So, how to correct that wrong time by best practice and without causing WD issues?
Having a manual for that case would be fine :wink:

My idea:

  1. stopping WD
  2. correcting time within setup menue in the console (is there another option?)
  3. correcting PC time
  4. starting WD again

One more question: Does ticking “sync time via internet every 6 hours” also sync the time on the console?

I would have WD sync the time from the internet so that when it syncs the time on the console, the console gets the correct time
