WD version 10.37S84 (Nov 8) WeatherFlow station Win 7 64 bit - seems to be working fine - BUT although the NOAA Forecast Download Panel is set correctly, The Forecast Panel shows Prairie Village KS. I have triple checked m LAT LON, and the downloaded file txz213.txt and they are correct. Only the display of the forecast is wrong.

can you post a screen shot of the noaa download setup screen?

Here is the screen shot of the ftp Weather Report /Warning/ forecast download page

I realized that I had set it up to download into the c:\wdisplay folder instead of c:\wdisplay\webfiles folder so I made sure that WDisplay is looking where the file is actually located in c:\wdisplay, but this has made no difference.

Some additional information: If I click the current conditions icon on the main display, it opens 3 windows - the incorrect forecast window, but also the correct METAR (KHOU) windows and a current conditions window for FMC W MAIN (my weatherflow station, although the Solar shows only a dash beside it - all the other data is correct). The Forecast window seems to be displaying some kind of default forecast which never changes for Prairie Village KS.

Thanks - The panel now shows the correct forecast, but no longer shows the location - likely something I need to fix in the settings or customization. But the data is correct I have attached the screen capture after unticking the NWS API below

I got too happy too soon :( - It appears that the cronmetardownload may not be running - this is just a guess on my part - because the txz213.txt file is not updating unless I open the control panel and hit the test button.

However - the Current Conditions - which pulls some sky conditions from METAR is running.

I am clueless how to proceed to troubleshoot or fix - please help - some more

the cronmetardownload does not update the NOAA forecast file
the ftpupd.exe program does
make sure you have the main internet switch on in the connections setup as well as the switch on in the noaa download setup

  Operator error  Since I was using it in local file mode I had unchecked the ftpupd in connections. Now that I have the correct box checked the forecast is updating correctly.

Thank you again!
