Does Weather Display support Arduino Weather Station using LoRaWan as communication ?
There are many Arduino weather station designs on the web. Do you have a link to the one you are referring to?
I’m starting from scratch and prefer to design my own .
Is there a certain format/layout that everyone follows ?
in the weather station type setup in WD
it does show you how to set the data:
extratemp1=
extratemp2=
extratemp3=
soiltemp=
uv=
solar=
rainmm= or rainintotalmm=
hum= or humidity= or humidity%=
winddir= (letters, i.e NNE)
baro= or pressure= or
pressurehpa=
(all hpa)
windspeedmph=
windgustspeedkph=
windspeedkph=
tempf=
tempc=
indoortempc=
extratemp4=
extratemp5=
extratemp6=
Can you setup an anemometer using ultrasonic sensor ?
the hardware side is separate to the software side
as long as you have the arduino reporting the windspeed as WD expects then all should be good
The author of Weather Display programs in Delphi - correct ?
yeah,why?
have you work with Vector instruments before ?
anemometer

doesn’t ring a bell
looks like very well constructed equipment
How many clients boxes does weather display support ?
Hi
how do you mean by client boxes exactly?
client sessions if your on the same LAN
you can set WD to client mode, yes, and have it get the data via UDP (multicast)
and you can set to have more than one version running (each install then has a file called e.g 2wd.txt or 3wd.txt etc)
This all work on latest - Ubuntu and even the clients etc
Yes, the Linux version of WD can be set
Client mode and work to get the UDP data
I’ll have to setup another laptop with Ubuntu etc…
when can I come and see you - you still living in your beach house
any chance I can swim in the saltwater pool ?
not salt water now, using a floatron
who are you?
hehe
you guess who - the lone ranger
