Rain .2mm off

Hi.

My Davis display is showing .2mm higher rainfall than WD.

ie/ Davis is showing 3.4mm rainfall for the day, WD is showing 3.2mm.

Any idea why and how to correct this?

Thanks.

As a thought, was it raining around midnight? If the PC clock is behind the Vue console clock by good margin, then a bucket tip may have been registered past midnight on the Vue but before midnight in WD, this will be a likely explanation if the monthly totals match in WD and on the Vue console.

“Control panel → offsets and initial rain” is where you can adjust rain totals.

Hi.

It wasn’t raining around midnight.

The clocks are set correctly (the PC is synced to an NTP server).

The other day, the totals matched!

I will keep an eye on it.

Thanks.
