Random Crashes
« on: October 10, 2018, 12:20:30 AM »
I've been having a problem with the last few versions crashing. OSX reports that the program is no longer responding. I click to dismiss the error and try restarting.

The restart gets as far as Loading new rain chart" but doesn't progress any farther.

I end up rebooting the computer and WXDisplay will start fine.

Any suggestions on what could be causing the crashes?

did you ever find the resolution to this issue?
i am experiencing the very same problem.
i have tried upgrading os from el capitan to mojave back to el capitan back to mojave.
clean installs. hd wiped cleaned.
i have uninstalled wd and reinstalled numerous times.
still having this issue.
requires a force quit of wd when it does not respond.
after restart, wd loads and functions normally.

No, never solved. I'm wondering if a file is being left open when it crashes and the reboot closes it?
