Night cloud - If clear = not foggy
« on: September 27, 2018, 05:41:38 AM »
Hello, as it is for the solar sensor, ie, if sunny = not foggy, could this also be applied to the night cloud too please?

You can have a clear sky with low level fog reducing the visibility or a partially obscured sky with fog.

Not sure I get where you are coming from,.

As it stands, my Davis humidity sensor rarely goes above 94%, rare occasion it may touch 96%, so that's quite low, now, today it said foggy at 94% yet its was a clear sky, no fog around my neighbourhood, I cannot increase the humidity cause it rarely goes above it so in effect, 94 is my 100%, hence why I thought that if the same applied to the night cloud like it does for the solar sensor where if its clear, then no fog.

I understand about low fog etc, but in that case cause there is fog between my sensor and the sky then the fog criteria is met so it would be correctly reporting fog
