Buoy Data not reporting

Hello all,

I just happened to stumble onto the buoy data of my web page only to find out that while the page comes up there is no active data.

If I click on a buoy I get the data for that buoy. I guess I recall on that page seeing data from the buoys before.

Easier if I share my web page: http://deputydawgwx.com/wxbuoy.php

Thanks

You’re running buoy-data.php V1.18 24-Feb-2015 – it was updated to Version 1.19 - 27-Jun-2018 use curl to fetch with https for www.ndbc.noaa.gov

Update from here.

Thanks, that did the trick.

I suspect I have other modules outdated. I haven’t done hardly any updates since it was created 3 years ago.

The only one I know I updated was the weather extremes section on the main page left side

You can check your script version status here http://deputydawgwx.com/check-fetch-times.php?show=versions

A number of the .gov sites have now switched to https-only access, so updates to the scripts were published to handle that… It’s good to ‘keep current’

It looks like check-fetch-times doesn’t work with wxmarinevessels.php. I get just a blank page and I don’t know when it broke. I can’t seem to locate where it came from so I’m not sure what the latest version is.

Thanks Niko… You always are a great help… Thanks

You’re welcome, but I’ll have to redirect that to Ken

Yes… Sorry Ken… You always have been very helpful as well

I greatly appreciate both y’alls help.

I’m not good with all this scripting stuff ):

I admit I paid someone to set it up. Overall I think it looks good

You can always get the current copy by downloading the Base distribution from my website. The check versions function only applies to scripts/pages/parts that are included with the Saratoga template sets (Base and Plugin) … not to other add-on scripts that I provide. For that, just check the script page for that script on my site… it will show the current version information and download. I do announce script updates on Twitter @saratogaWXPHP and via the RSS feed on my site.
