The strange case of the closing of the National Solar Observatory

Some people are very twisted in their perversions.

Too bad it implies that such behavior is linked to science.

Good thing this happened at a center where the sun usually comes up the next day, and could be shut down as firmly as it was. I can’t imagine the course of action if it were at the Deep Space Network just before New Horizons flew by Pluto or Cassini said it’s last goodbye.

I’m not sure why it took the FBI a week to snab the one computer, the guy and kept the place closed. By description many offices were used only once a year.

Oh well.
Sounds as if no data of importance were lost.
