The Windows 10 PC that I run WD on also periodically captures a .jpg image from one of my Arlo security cameras. I looked at WD’s handling of webcam images but it appears that WD can only use a .gif image as an input. Is that correct or am I missing something?
it can use a jpg
you can either use the wdwebcamcapture.exe program and set that to use a file as the source
or setup up to use the 3rd party web cam setup in WD and select that file
