Correct data file not working?

I have been having some errors with my station, and I’d like to correct the spike values. To do this, I went to Action > View and Modify Log file > loaded the months file, highlighted the error lines, removed them and saved the changes. However, this seems to have no effect. The wrong minimum temperature is still in the NOAA reports and marked as this months extreme minimum temperature. When I go back to modify log/data files and reload the file, the lines I deleted are back.

I have also tried doing it manually like in the WD youtube video, going to Notepad (in this case Notepad++), removing the bad lines from the log file, converting to data file, recreating last 31 days graph data, but the error persists in the graphs, NOAA reports and extremes (even after recreating NOAA report)… It seems to be stuck in the data file when I reload it via WD’s utility, is this a bug or am I doing this wrong?

Bad data still in datafile even after deleting lines and converting logfile to datafile: https://i.imgur.com/tMWJtlE.png

Edit: Looks like I solved it… the logfile somehow had empty entries for 2011 2012 2013 2014 etc. in the first few lines. But that was half the problem. The actual WD utility to modify data file doesnt seem to actually be doing anything when I delete the lines.

when manually editing the logfile
you would then need to convert that logfile to data file (via action, convert WD logfiles to data files
select the logfile
then click on convert
try that

Hi, yes, I did that and that works, but given WD gives you the option to remove lines from the data file itself, I wonder why that utility doesnt work when you click Save Changes.
