My Windows XP machine’s motherboard crashed not allowing me to get a backup of the registry. I was able to take the drive out and I have all the files for WD and WDL copied to a PC running Windows 7 64-bit. The files are in C:\wdisplay (same as the XP machine).
Would I be able to locate the registration files on the removed drive or is the data lost?
To get WD and WDL working on the new PC, I just have to download the latest version of each?
