No more decimal places were added for mm
Although I could do that for day if a weather flow station is in use

possible cause to problem could be as follows.....   for some reason if data from Davis VP is not downloaded to computer / WD pgm, next time it is downloaded the dates on 7 day rainfall screen are corrupted.
I have noticed this a couple of times over past month when I have not accessed WD for several days, and when I do, IF for some reason the data has not been automatically downloaded as it should and WD then downloads stored data, this then appears to corrupt the 7 day dates...
IF data is up to date when WD is opened, dates are in correct sequence.....
Problem with Davis or WD accessing data ???    [ WD run on dedicated NIC computer with no other pgm running (win 10 current version ) with 4gb memory  ]

The monthly / yearly rainfall totals are not showing on screen and rain chart totals as can be seen on chart rain on 2nd and  23/24/25 Jan but 0.0 total on summary but number of days correct [4] and wettest [6,6] however total for month 0.0 ??
also on main screen display [rain B] 0.0 for year and on 7 day rain screen " Storm rain total" 8.4 mm..???
WD version current 85

It's not very clear to me what part
Of the previous post is still  a problem
Note you can set the needed year rain total
Under control panel, offsets and initial rain

Rain for Jan was displayed as it should on main screen when it fell and totals were correct
however it appears that it has not updated when Feb commenced and it should be displayed in yearly total

Also on 7day rain screen .. NO yearly total  but a "Storm" Value of total for month ..???
and on Yearly rainfall chart .. daily values are there   but NOT Total for month ??

7 Day rainfall window problem looks like a problem if computer that runs WD has a power failure, and then turned on some time later .
Had a general power outage at 3 am  6 days ago and computer that runs WD did not restart when power came back on....
.was restarted after noticing not operating  [ 2 days later ], and WD restarted automatically and downloaded missing data from consol.
noticed that 7 day window dates were not correct . checked this morning to see what happens and attached image shows 11/12 and 16/17 th day and date correct but other [ 6/7/8th ]
dates are incorrect but days are correct .. dates are exactly one week earlier ..??

hope this makes sense
cheers

it has happened again .. another power failure this morning and when WD computer turned on and data loaded, display of 7 day screen date has reverted to 11/3 instead of 18/3 exactly 7 days low but correct day ????

do you mean this is happening with when WD is getting the history data from the data logger?
(what weather station type again?)

Could be the Davis logger is still logging the data while the computer is off line..  [ is connected to mains with bat. back up ]
When I have restarted the computer, the WD program starts automatically and downloads the "missing" data..
prior to the power failures [ general in area ], dates / days were displayed correctly.

cheers

exactly 7 days low but correct day ????

As per #1 in this thread, if WD is not running at rain reset time the 7-day screen will not be updated.

AFAIK that doesn't affect logged data: the 7-day data is kept in WDISPLAY.INI
It's meant to be fun. . .

I see what the problem is, hopefully
WD is using the current time/date instead of the time/date from the history data, when doing/checking the last 7 days data reset (i.e what day to reset etc)
try this new update
