Soil moisture from Arduino
« on: August 16, 2018, 07:56:10 PM »
Since my entrance into PWS world, I've been gradually adding different types of sensors. I just missed the hobby boards and they're closed now. I have solutions for my soil temperature and lightnings but no solution for a soil moisture. I have a couple of Arduino soil moisture sensors and would like to try them out. One way is connecting them to a RPi or have them running remotely on a Wemos D1 (wifi) but the ultimate goal would be integration with the WD.
Is there any solution for this? Should I have it connected via 1-wire in some way?
There was a discussion about "replacing" the hobby boards with Arduino sensors but don't know where it stands at the moment.
