Meteobridge unreachable

Hi all,

I’m having an issue with my new Meteobridge.
I’ve had it for 3 weeks now, and everything has been working perfectly until about 2 days ago.

My internet connection to my house drops out for a minute or 2 about 2 times per day. This also causes my wi-fi to restart.

After the wi-fi restarts, my Meteobridge is completely unreachable and not collecting data.
I have no issues connecting to my WeatherLink IP via browser.
However, when I go to “http://magicip.meteobridge.com/”, the browser correctly redirects to the local MeteoBridge IP, but it hangs for ages before I get the notice “(IP Address) took too long to respond”.

The only way to get the MeteoBridge working again is to physically unplug it to force a reboot.

This is a massive problem, as my internet disconnects randomly at any time during the day. Meaning, my MeteoBridge can be disconnected early in the day, and I won’t be able to physically unplug it until I get home from work.
Once it is restarted, it does not have any of the data from the day present. It only knows the minimum/maximum data for the time it has been on.

Can anyone help?

How is your Meteobridge and router configured?

I would recommend.

Option 1

Meteobridge set to DHCP
Router configured with Reserved IP.

Option 2
Meteobridge set to static IP but must be not with Router
