i have slept on it…done another update
what is happening is if the max gust during the day is higher than at night, then the time that occured is getting set wrong for the graph data
i.e its getting pegged as at midnight
I think I have a better handle on it now
latest .zip update
Ok, up and running latest and greatest…hopefully this takes care of it once and for all. Thanks for your great support Brian, always appreciated.
This update is looking good for me, as before I would see it 3-in-4 times and since update none.
Thanks for fixing this.

The time was still set to winter, it was an hour behind  thanks, that would explain the wind spike being at 1am and not 12pm too.
Looks like I captured another midnight wind spike - see attached.
The max gust for the spike was reported at 00:36, which may be a clue. Let me know if there is anything I can check.

is the time on the console the same as the pc?
I have not seen this problem here myself with the fix I made ( I was seeing it before)
No re-occurrence here since Sept 3rd version installed…if that changes I will let you know…
My console is lagging slightly but within 1-minute, how synchronized do they need to be?
This is the only spike I have seen since updating, that must be a good 4-weeks now.

so just the one spike in a month
not sure why you got that one
if that is a problem then I can only suggest to use an older version of WD where it was not occuring
Yeah only that one spike since the fix, I will keep monitoring it for now and see if I get any more occurrences.
One thing, I don’t think I have the 8th September zip update installed, does that have any relevance here?
Looks like I had another midnight windspike this morning - see attached.
The maximum gust for the day is still reporting the previous days max gust speed which also matches the peak for the midnight wind spike.
Could it be something related to my weather server being relatively slow, meaning at midnight when multiple tasks are required it takes longer for these to be processed causing some sort of race condition - just a thought to try and provide some evidence in to the issue.
Been a long time, but appears I have another spike. I noticed that it shows up at 23:40 and not midnight…and converting the logfile does not clear the graph. Running 10.37S81
