The WD reports (dailynoaareport.htm) have a black diamond with a white ? inside in place of the degree symbol (). I know it has to do with character encoding but the pages are generated as text with a html header that allows for showing it as a web page. I want to display the pages and wonder if the degree symbol can be fixed.

The issue is with your webserver .. It includes
Code: [Select]
Content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8 when the actual character set of the page is ISO-8859-1

Use the control panel for your website to change the default character set to ISO-8859-1 and the degree symbol will show correctly.

Thanks Ken. I put a .htaccess (AddDefaultCharset iso-8859-1) file in my Apache 2.4/PHP server on the weather station computer (local access and testing) and that worked. The station web server is a LightSpeed server and I had to open a ticket but it was quickly resolved.
