I have a similar issue after a PC crash. My Steel Gauges were working fine before but I then needed to download the latest version of WD 10.37S73. Customclientraw.txt is ticked. I may have to completely upgrade steel gauges (using version 1.6.5 - 2012-03-08) but that would be a task that I am not looking forward to. 
Just see Brian’s last comment. All the 'client raw files are in web flies in my case.
