WMR89 and rain problem
« on: June 13, 2018, 08:14:06 AM »
Hi,

the problem is from begging (two months) but I didn't have enough time to find where is problem.

My rain gauges is modified, original diameter of rain colector is 10cm, but I have put plastic funnel (diameter is 20cm). It's 4x time size, and I have set  rain offset -75% which is ok, I have similar offset on old station and it's working ok.

The problem with this station is that on station console, 24h rain is always ok compare to pluviometer but 4x in size, but when it's go to WD (especially when there is a strong rain) it's skip reading, and in WD I have less rain, and always have to add manual differents.

I also increase in WD step reading for rain to 100mm, but it's not worth.

I suspect the problem is because you have modified the gauge
and then so sometimes the rain amount is higher than a threshold in WD (which is before the correct is made)
use this update

where I have increased that threshold
