Humidity graph not shown

ive attatched a picture from the cronpakbusnew for more info
i see the humidity value, shown in the picture.

that is a lot of decimal places
(and a silly amount of decimal places I might add, the sensor is not that accurate)
see if you can change it to only 1 decimal place with the campbell scientific software?

Hi,

Sorry, thats above my knowledge really…

are you sure the reading in the current conditions area on the main screen is correct and changing?
did anything else change?
you say you just restarted the program?

Yes, all the live data on the mainscreen is updating ok.
WD didnt get data during the freezing of my laptop, for hours.
I now see i did remove accidentally the datafiles, so now theres only the 52018lg.txt file present.

you should not be deleting files
if you have then try restarting WD
then re do:

then click on convert
choose the 52018lg.txt file
then click on convert
then click on recreate last 31 days data file

I did that, but still no graph and rate unfortunately.

Hi,

When i set all values in the dataposition fields to 1 as a test, its still getting the right data.
And when i start WeatherD.exe i see the mainscreen humidity graph is present, but in whole numbers, no decimal…

Executive is WeatherDisplay.exe, not WeatherD.exe.

Hi,

Yes i know, but it looks like the weatherdisplay.exe version gets its humidity graph data from somewhere else…

WeatherD.exe is an old version of WD, do not run it. The name of the program changed to weatherdisplay.exe some time ago.

Hi Niko,

Yes i know, but the time weatherdisplay.exe run for some hours without the humidity graphed, and then started WeatherD.exe, the humidity graph was shown ( in non decimal values) in the mainscreen graph in WeatherD.exe for the period weatherdisplay.exe has run…
Just as a test.

So that makes me think in weatherdisplay.exe the humidity data is coming from somewhere else.
Other weatherdata is shown immediately, with rate to…

At the moment, the humidity graph (in weatherdisplay.exe) is stuck at 60%, same with the rate, is stuck at zero, while the actual humidity is in the low 40 and working fine/fluctuating.

See screenshot below:

…and a screenshot from WeatherD.exe from the same period.
Which shows the humidity graph ok.
It looks like the graph lines are more sharp also… ?

Fixed.
But what annoys me is i dont know what i changed/what caused it… i hate that… :frowning:
What is the best way to save all the settings as they are right now?

Thanks very much for the help and reactions, much appreciated

you can set WD to do auto backups of your settings/data:
under control panel,data back up
(the wdisplay.ini and wdisplayftp.reg settings files are the important ones)

Hi,

Thank you so much👍

Very happy WD user

Hi,

Unfortunately the humidity graph and rate isnt working after updating WD.
The rate is showing zero and the graph flatline since running after update.
I forgot to wait after the update was running untill the message came to uncheck the option to ask permission to use cronwu or something.
So as soon as i unchecked that option, the data was ok, except the humidity graph and rate on the mainscreen.
The current condition and realtime graph is showing humidity just fine.
Campbell Scientific datalogger in use.

Ive restarted WD and converted log file to datafiles in the action menu and recreated last 31 days, but no difference unfortunately.
Theres nothing shown in program event log and humidity is being logged in log file.
Probably i can do something more to get it working again.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

For some reason the hum graph and rate started to work just before 4 tonight.
Im curious as to why it started again after hours of flatline. I didnt change a setting.
Maybe i have something setup wrong?
Could be because im not that an expert on pc

With kind regards.

so you say not shown
you are actualling meaning
its showng
but its flat lining
i.e not getting new updates

which could be because the raw data is out of range
you would need to look at the actual raw data, when it is flat linning
