Metar text file
« on: May 13, 2018, 09:02:09 AM »
Hi
V1037 s72
I cannot turn off "Include text file in web page" the tick reappears as soon as I open Metar Downloads
And the downloads do not always happen from egdr - I checked the metar site at http://en.allmetsat.com/metar-taf/united-kingdom-ireland.php?icao=EGDR and IT is updating
Thanks in advance
Alan
Edit
If I do choose to use the metar.txt how do I get to centre on the webpage.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for the reply. Website is www.greatbosullow.net
It looks as though the downloads from NOAA do work. But the include switch still sticks on ticked.
I don't really need both the gif and the txt
Regards
Alan

Thanks Brian - perfect the include sticky tick works fine now.
The only thing I am finding is the metar downloads are a bit out of date (1 hour or so) but that might be that the server (below) is a bit overloaded.
I'll try downloading a bit later (UK metars issue at HH:50) - I was using HH:58 in the hope of catching my 'on hour' uploads but maybe that is a bit optimistic.

Thanks again - I'm always amazed by the speed of your help.
