Cloud base

Looking at my weather data here:

And comparing it with a METAR here:

At time of writing, my cloud base is 3566 feet.

The METAR says ‘Cloudy with clear patches at 25000’.

The two figures are very different. Are they the same thing?

Seems to depend how WD decodes the METAR.
Currently Boscome Down shows

Few clouds at a height of 3600 ft
Broken clouds at a height of 16000 ft

And WD is displaying the 16000 ft in the METAR image so looks like it only shows the last in the list.

The few clouds at 3600ft is a lot closer to the cloud base value in your summary image.

that is only an estimated value (based on your dew point) and not the actual value from the metar
