WXSimlite error 70
« on: February 23, 2018, 11:04:18 AM »
This morning I noticed I had an error 70 trying to access the live WD log file from WXSimlite when doing the analysis. Once I OK'd this message box it continued OK but this was some hours after it had started. Does WXSimlite retry this error periodically as if it is accessing the current log file it may well pick a moment when WD is updating the same file?

I think I've found the problem although eror 70 is a little misleading. My current log file 22018lg.txt had two duplicate records in it. Having edited the file to remove the offending lines a manual analysis run ended without error.

Thanks! Interesting.  I'm surprised that error 70 would result from that, but in some indirect way it might.  Please let me know if you get any mroe confirmation of that!

All I can say Tom is that it was happening on every analysis until I corrected the duplicate lines in the offending current log file. Having done that my runs have all worked.
