Datain38.ini file and specifics in its use

In another message string Brian refered to a description in the universal.txt file explaining the expected data order for the datain38.ini file.

This is very exciting. Well, I’m easily excited I guess.

His description says there is one line in the file, so I assume I do not need to add a CR, LF to the end of the string.
Also, if there aren’t values, such as soil temperature, I assume I stuff zeros in that placeholder.

Finally, does anyone know how often WD reads thiis file? Does it check to see if the date/time property of the file has changed and then read it, otherwise if it read it at a regular interval, say every second, then one would want to update it approximately the same rate to catch wind gusts and all.

This program and it’s flexibility continue to amaze me.

Dale

WD tries to read it every second
yes just one line (space delmited) and yes you can just stuff with zeros
